Happy weekend. May it be as beautiful as the quotation above, with cadences that sounds like lullabies. May it also be loose and fluid, and may wonderful, surprising things happen to you. If you're in a place that is finally sunny and warm again, like Boston has been, sit outside and soak it up. If you're not, curl up on the couch and read In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje. It's about love, pain, and the web of coincidences and connections that link all of our lives. It is also written with such lyrical skill that it reads like a compelling, narrative poem.
In the meantime, if you need me, I'll be eating birthday cake and watching Mad Men.
