When I was a freshman in college I watched Picture This, a snowboard movie, with some friends while home on break (it was during my "I'm a badass skier" phase, which came with a set of sweet K2 twin-tips that I've used far too little). This haunting song was in the film, and the first thing I did once the movie ended was look up the soundtrack. I love the high notes in the beginning, the reverb in the voice, the way the sound gets bigger as the song progresses and then slowly winds down at the end. I'm in a "kiss the sky" kind of mood today, so here it is. I like to think Jimi Hendrix would be down with the title borrowing his lyrics.
